Meet the Squaw Dogs, an elite group of highly trained K9's. The Squaw Avalanche Rescue Dog program was established back in the 1980s, and comprised of one dog and one handler. From its humble beginnings, the dog program has grown over the years, and at one point had as many as ten active dogs on the hill.
